Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of this website. They are short because the site is simple: it describes what bnd is building, and it lets you start a conversation with us.
Agreement to these terms
By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
The website is operated by bnd. bnd is currently completing its formal company registration; the registered legal name, company number, and jurisdiction will be published here when those details are finalised. Until then, the contact for all matters relating to these terms is khaled@bnd.one.
An informational website
This website exists to explain what bnd does and what it is building: demand-led data origination today, and the Human Data Rail as long-term infrastructure. It also provides ways to contact us and a diagnostic tool that produces preliminary, indicative output.
Nothing on this site is an offer to buy or sell data, an offer of securities, or a binding commitment to enter any transaction. Any actual engagement with bnd happens through separate, explicit agreements made outside this website.
No advice
Nothing on this website is legal, financial, or technical advice. Content describing data rights, permissions, market activity, or valuation dynamics is general information about how bnd approaches its work.
Before making decisions about your own data, contracts, or regulatory obligations, take advice from qualified professionals who know your specific situation.
No guarantee of value, valuation, or transaction
bnd's work is discovery: finding out whether valuable signals exist inside material that organisations already produce. Discovery means the answer can be no.
No data is guaranteed to have commercial value. Using this website, submitting an inquiry, or running the diagnostic does not create any promise that your material will be valued, packaged, purchased, or transacted. The diagnostic produces preliminary hypotheses that are subject to review, not appraisals.
bnd's commercial role
bnd acts as a data-origination and brokerage intermediary. It helps organisations identify data that may have commercial value, investigates potential demand, introduces qualified buyers, and coordinates the development and negotiation of a licensing opportunity.
bnd does not automatically purchase, own, or take title to a supplier's data. A supplier retains ownership unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise. A buyer receives only the rights granted under its licence.
No inquiry, diagnostic result, discussion, introduction, or website submission creates a transaction. Any actual data engagement requires separate written agreements defining the parties, the material, authority, permitted use, restrictions, security responsibilities, commercial terms, delivery, retention, termination, and dispute handling.
Brokerage fee
bnd's standard commercial model is a success fee equal to 30% of the completed data-licensing transaction, unless a different structure is agreed in writing. No fee is earned merely because an inquiry is submitted or an introduction is made.
These Terms of Use do not by themselves bind any organisation to that fee. The fee, its precise calculation, payment timing, taxes, expenses, and the treatment of renewals must be stated in the separate brokerage or supplier agreement before any engagement proceeds.
No guarantee of authority or demand
bnd may research whether a data opportunity appears commercially promising, but it does not guarantee that the supplier has the right to license the material, that the material satisfies a buyer's requirements, or that a transaction will occur.
The supplier must confirm its authority. The buyer must conduct its own assessment. bnd coordinates the opportunity but does not replace the parties' legal, technical, or commercial diligence.
Current capability and forward-looking statements
This website is careful to distinguish what is operational today from what is prototype, in development, or future architecture, and it labels these states where they appear.
Descriptions of future architecture, including elements of the Human Data Rail that do not yet exist, are statements of intent, not commitments. They describe where bnd is going; they do not promise when or whether any specific capability will be delivered.
Acceptable use
You may use this website for its intended purpose: reading about bnd and contacting us. You must not misuse it.
- Do not attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure
- Do not submit forms in bulk, through automation, or for any purpose other than a genuine inquiry
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes the rights of others
- Do not use the Ask bnd feature to attempt to extract, manipulate, or misrepresent its underlying systems
- Do not scrape or republish site content in a way that misrepresents it as your own or as endorsed by bnd
Submissions and inquiries
When you submit an inquiry, a requirement, or diagnostic details, you confirm that you have the authority to share what you submit, and that sharing it does not breach any obligation you owe to an employer, client, or other party.
Do not submit sensitive raw data through this website: no personal data about other people, no confidential business records, no medical, financial, client, employee, or regulated material. The forms are for high-level descriptions only, and they say so prominently.
You keep all rights to what you submit. Submitting an inquiry grants bnd only what is needed to read it, respond to it, and assess whether a conversation is worth having. Submitted content is never used to train AI models.
Intellectual property
The content of this website, including its text, diagrams, visual systems, and the structure of the diagnostic, belongs to bnd. You may read it, reference it, and quote it fairly with attribution.
You may not copy the site wholesale, present its content as your own, or use the bnd name or materials in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.
External links
This site links to external sources, particularly where public claims are attributed to published reporting. Those sites are not operated by bnd, and bnd is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. A link is a citation, not an endorsement.
Changes, legal details, and contact
These terms may change as the website and the company develop. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
A governing-law clause would normally sit here. It is deliberately absent for now: bnd's formal legal entity details, including jurisdiction, will be published on this page when the company's registration details are finalised.
Questions about these terms: khaled@bnd.one.
The Trust section
bnd identifies potentially valuable organisational data, develops licensing opportunities, and brokers transactions between data suppliers and qualified AI or research buyers.
Trust is not limited to protecting a website form. It also means preserving the connection between a data package, its source, its permissions, its buyer, its licence, and its commercial history.
